Instant Bond

A question was posed in today's study, "Have you ever felt an almost instant bond to a new friend? Record the reasons you believe you felt such a kinship.

I had this kind of instant friendship happen to me 24 years ago with a lady named Darinda Fitzgerald. From the night we met (along with our spouses) we were inseparable. She is a strong Christian lady and her husband Kevin was called to preach while we were still all in the military. After he left the military he sought out his ministry. He is a minister in Wilburton, OK now. I am so proud of him and she is a wonderful minister's wife.

We have remained close all these years. We are both grandma's now and spend our days talking about the babies.

I treasure her friendship very much! GOD brought her into my life when I needed a strong christian influence. Thank you GOD!
